There are a bunch of other blogs that I read fairly regularly and I realised that though I’ve had this site up and running for almost two years now, I’ve been very lazy with putting together a good, old-fashioned Blogroll. I worked out how to have images in the right hand side bar instead of just another list of links and have thrown together some logos for the blogs I read – more will be added over the coming days.
That got me to thinking about the lists I have for the series that I’ve annotated and those that are coming soon, so I spent an hour or so yesterday getting some mini-logos from those series and chucking them up in place of the list of links that were there.
So instead of this:
- Armageddon 2001
- Blackest Night
- Crisis on Infinite Earths
you’ll now see this:
and so on.
What do you think?
Dude I’m jealous now of those Blogroll logos. Very well-done man.

I never thought of doing my logo that way but I never made image links either. Probably because I have the RSS feed at the bottom of the site and the blogroll formats with that. Neat though.

Hope you didn’t mind me altering the logo – I needed something wider and if I’d simply taken your original and squashed it to 30 pixels high, it wouldn’t have looked good.

No, it’s fine. I’m not sure where you got that version of the logo without the blue with white letters background though. Or did you do work that could have solved by asking for my project file? 😀

Yeah, I took a screen shot, chucked it into paint.net, manually removed the background then repositioned the text and shrunk it down. Probably took all of ten minutes so no big deal! 🙂
