  1. I believe he drew some Batman issues for awhile in the 80’s, but they didn’t look like the style he’s had since the 90’s. Much like Kelley Jones, Mandrake seemed like a natural for drawing Batman stories.

    1. I never saw much of his Batman stuff as I only really picked up Batman stories in trade; loved his work on THE SPECTRE and then MARTIAN MANHUNTER, both with John Ostrander writing.
