Crisis on Earth-Prime 
I still question the wisdom, especially the marketing wisdom behind doing that to Diana. “Hey, let’s strip everything about here that’s been proven to be successful for over 30 years. THAT’LL REALLY sell like gangbusters.” Maybe had it been done as brief storyline or stand alone one-shot or mini-series, sure, but that whole idea rightfully deserved every bit of criticism it got.
Solid cover regardless though btw.

Well we can’t ask Denny O’ Neil why he did all that but I’m guessing it was to shake things up. Which it did, just not for the good.
