Dark Crisis Crossovers 2

DARK CRISIS: YOUNG JUSTICE #2

The arrival of Wonder Girl at the end of the previous issue allows Robin, Superboy, and Impulse to deal with the Mighty Endowed, though all of the boys are sure they never had that much trouble facing her the first time around. The Super Cycle arrives and with barely time to think, they’re off to fight another early Young Justice villain. Robin take a moment to talk to Wonder Girl about how things feel off in this world.

In the real world, Cassie asks Cissie to help her find the missing boys and is taken aback by the anger that Cissie feels towards her – Cissie hates that Cassie is completed only by her association with Robin and the others, and claims that was why she left Young Justice, but she reluctantly agrees to help.

Robin, Superboy, and Impulse are taken by Wonder Girl to the Watchtower on the moon where they’re greeted by the Justice League who claim to want them to take on the mantles of their mentors. Again, Robin realises something is wrong with the world as the JLA act out of character and even Impulse notices it, but Superboy wonders if they could just stay here in this world where he never died.

Back in reality, Cassie and Cissie find Red Tornado at the Happy Harbor hideout and he agrees to help them in their search.

Noticing that Wonder Girl is missing, Robin and the others return to Happy Harbor in their world only to find Lex Luthor, Captain Boomerang, and Deathstroke waiting for them.

THE FLASH #784

In their search for Barry Allen, the speedsters have split up and are following vibrational traces to other worlds that may be where Barry is.

Jesse Quick and Max Mercury find themselves in a Mad Max-esque world where Barry Allen drives a car across a wasteland while being chased by followers of the villain Terramongus. They help this world’s Barry escape the followers before realising they’re on the wrong world, just as Terramongus arrives.

Irey and Jai are startled by Night-Flash, a cowled and caped version of Flash that looks like Flash and the Batman merged together. They manage to get away from him but lose their wrist worn device that will take them back to their own world. Just as they escape from Night-Flash, a shadowy figure gives them a place to hide.

Wally and Wallace are on Earth-Flash-1 where they split up with Wally approaching Barry who sees him as Reverse Flash. While Wally tries to talk to him, Barry rages against what he thinks is his greatest villain.

Wallace tracks this world’s Kid Flash back to his home where he’s discovered and welcomed in by the extended Flash family, a new suit suddenly appearing on him, and given a seat at the head of the table, surrounded by loved ones and feeling like he belongs here.
