Mash-Up #31

Twice a week I randomly generate two dates and then compare the titles I own from both of them, trying to find some covers that, with a little basic photoshopping, I can mash together, and then I force the results on you lovely people.

By the way, I admit to being HUGELY influenced by the wonderful Super-Team Family blog which has been doing this for years (and a lot better) on an almost daily basis.

I always liked the yellow and white Power Girl costume – it was simple and straightforward but, as is always the way, the new look usually reverts to the “classic” look at some point.

Inspector Le Brock, by the way, comes from the wonderful Grandville series of books by Bryan Talbot. If you like a bit of steampunk anthropomorphic animal adventure stories, you can’t go wrong.

In Bruges

It’ll be a little quiet round here for the next week or so (apart from a scheduled Mash-Up tomorrow) as Mrs Earth-Prime and I are off to Bruges.

Hopefully there’ll be fewer guns involved while we’re there.

Man, can you imagine the mess The Boys would make of this bunch of, frankly, second string DC super villains? I do not like the chances of the Secret Society here, my friends.

Suck My Fist!

I’m still working on the Legends annotations (have just finished the crossovers between #3 and #4) and while reading them, came across this gem from Firestorm #56:

I’m not advocating violence but if anyone ever needs to punch someone in the face, I insist they tell the bad guy to “Suck my fist!”
