The last time Green Lantern captured the Fantastic Four (back in October last year) regular commenter Dale suggested Galactus should get involved to free them. While I don’t normally take suggestions, as soon as I read that, this cover from GREEN LANTERN sprang to mind.
So begins the final Green Lantern vs Fantastic Four storyline, a four part tale that continues in the next three issues and concludes next week.

Nooice! Sometimes it pays to listen to me, haha. Naw, I’m sure you’d probably have come up with that same idea eventually. That cover really is well-made though. I used to read GL during the Gerald Jones era (and while his work will never be reprinted due to the nature of his sick crimes (he was caught & charged with possession of kiddie porn in case you didn’t already know) it still holds up as entertaining stories. Looking very forward to the rest of the covers for this storyline.

Yeah, I know about Jones and the crimes; I’ve got a post planned for June that’ll touch on that as one of the forthcoming Random Retrospectives is a Jones GL issue.
