Hey, our food isn’t that bad. As cliched as it might be, I’ll take a lovely battered piece of fish with some well cooked chips over a McDonalds any day of the week.

Well, you got to consider the source. Black Alice being an angsty American teen, all foods other than “bitter cheerleader tears” are probably equally disgusting.
I don’t think I’ve eaten much British cuisine, but I do enjoy fish sometimes, so it can’t be that bad.
