Ok, that tagline did make me crack a smile. Kudos to ya Gary.
I have say I now feel bad for omitting Johnny off my top 10 list of recurring characters who’s covers I’ve enjoyed. Every one of Strontium Dog’s appearance here have never failed to entertain. I can also appreciate you showing him love when he doesn’t seem to get it enough these days, at least not on the America side of the fence.
Nope, the UK comic from the late 70s that was a companion to 2000AD and eventually merged with it – which is how Strontium Dog ended up in the pages of 2000AD.
Oh ok, never heard of that title until today. I wonder why Marvel didn’t have an issue with them using the Starlord name. Skateboard Strike Force huh? I bet that dude Dredd shot, is probably glad he wasn’t a part of that group eh? Ha ha.

Long been a big fan of Johnny Alpha; I was collecting STARLORD (where he first appeared) before I was reading 2000 AD (where he moved to)

I suspect whoever sent that bounty along to Johnny didn’t have his best interests at heart.
