  1. I myself don’t care for the Atlantean connection, but I get why it was done that way following CRISIS. On one hand I’m sure fans love the fact that she’s basically a multiversal variant of Supergirl, tying her to his overall mythos & supporting cast. On the other, you could argue by casting her as a Kryptonian, you’re robing her of being her own unique individual self.

    Oh and good luck Kara. Dr. Druid’s a dick.

    1. While I was no fan of the Atlantean thing, I think I’d rather that than the close ties with the Superman family that she’s been lumbered with since the Lazarus Planet thing. She always worked better as someone connected to Superman but independent from him.
