As I prepare this for posting in September, it’s currently the middle of April 2025; Trump has caused huge market turmoil with his on-again, off-again tariffs that seem to make no sense whatsoever (remember he put 10% tariffs on an island with no human inhabitants?) and there’s talk from the Democrats about accusing him of market manipulation. Cthulhu only knows what will happen between now and when this post sees the late of day, but as the Demon says above, “that’s democracy.“

Tell Gary from April that things got predictably worse as expected and that we’re even headed towards a true sequel to the Civil War must, likely by or before year’s end.
But alas, unlike our cousins across the pond in the UK, we can still browse the internet for whatever we want, except porn apparently, depending on what state you live in. Oh what interesting times we live in 🙄🤦♂️

Yeah, it’s getting to the point where I’m staying away from reading the news as it’s all just too depressing. Things here in the UK aren’t great either; too much right wing rhetoric being spewed about immigrants; the supposedly left-wing Labour government shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly; Farage and his Reform party doing too well in the polls…

The way Starmer & his party keep shooting themselves in the foot sounds kinda intentional at this point right? Has to be. Oh don’t feel bad because the Democrats are using the exact same tactics and it’s equally as frustrating.
