Wonder Woman Trailer

This looks fantastic!

There’s a lot going on here but damn me it looks splendid. One of the biggest things that instantly impressed me: it’s in daylight! After the ridiculously constant darkness of Batman v Superman, the fact that you could see what’s going on here is excellent.

Gal Gadot looks to be building on her much underused appearance in B v S; Themyscira looks suitably otherworldly; Amazons Attack!; the lasso really shines; and Wonder Woman going over the top was just a piece of genius.

And the costume throughout looks so much brighter than in B v S:

Oh, there was also a Justice League trailer released as well.

Civil War II Prequel Announced

Seriously, that’s the headline used here.

Surely a prequel to Civil War II would be . . . Civil War?

Oh, and it looks like we might be heading to Krypton again in a David Goyer penned series on SyFy.

That’ll be a laugh a minute then, with Goyer in charge. The longer they keep The Flash, Supergirl and even DC Legends of Tomorrow away from the miserable, grim as hell Man of Steel/Batman vs Superman world the better.

Dredd TV Series?

Karl Urban Dredd

This news – that there’s the faintest possibility of a potential vague hint of a TV series following on from Dredd has me hoping. I loved the film with Karl Urban and, following the successes both Amazon and Netflix have had with their original series, it’s not a massive stretch to think one of them would pick this up.

I’d rather Amazon do it as I don’t currently subscribe to Netflix. If they pick it up, though, that would change.
