That’s right – I’m going twice weekly on the mash-up front. I’ve got so far ahead of myself on these, I thought I’d spread the joy!
I admit to being HUGELY influenced by the wonderful Super-Team Family blog which has been doing this for years (and a lot better) on an almost daily basis, and have mashed up a few comic covers.
Twice a week I randomly generate two dates and then compare the titles I own from both of them, trying to find some covers that, with a little basic photoshopping, I can mash together, and then I force the results on you lovely people.
On the off-chance there are any DC writers/artists reading this, if you could make this scene happen in a DC comic book, I will cheerfully give you $100.
There is simply not enough Heckler in this world.

The Heckler eh? That is a deep cut in DC history. And no, we really don’t get enough of him these days. Hell I’d go even further and suggest they make a Heckler action figure. That’d be cool.

I have big love for the Heckler but the chances of him turning up in today’s DCU are pretty much non-existent, I think.

Oh yeah, you’re definitely right about that. Not much of Giffen’s solo creations ever see the light of day except an occasional appearance from Ambush Bug.
