  1. Oooh now this is definitely a good one! Yeah I don’t know if I care for Blade’s chances here, only because Judge Death could also possess him if he wanted to.

You doing a Halloween edition of Untold Tales monday?

  2. Yeah, Blade wasn’t nearly the badass in the ’70s that he became after Wesley Snipes got ahold of him, so I don’t know how he’ll do against a ghost. Also, those stairs seem dangerously angled, if he’s not careful he’ll fall and break his neck!

What the heck is Judge Death, anyway? Zombie, radiation-mutated human, genetic manipulation experiment gone awry? I’ve always seen that panel of Dread punching clean through his skull, but never had any idea what he was.

    1. Judge Death was a human from an alternate dimensional world where he became a Judge and decided that as all crime was committed by the living, life itself was a crime. He was then changed using chemistry and magic into the undead Judge Death, later joined by Judges Fear, Fire and Mortis, then even later retconned with the Sisters of Death.

He travelled over to Dredd’s world and has been a pain in his behind ever since.

And the very famous scene you reference is actually Dredd punching through the helmet of Judge Fear.
