Blue Beetle’s helping out and although he’s wearing an alien space suit that comes equipped with all sort of gadgets and can allow him to survive in space . . . he still wears a hardhat!

Two possible answers: One, If Jaime is helping out, then he’s probably considered a contracted worker for the construction company, and doesn’t want them to get in trouble in the event OSHA shows up.
