While never a big fan of Mark Millar, his STARLIGHT miniseries with Goran Parlov on art was great fun – an affectionate run at the John Carter of Mars/Earthman hero on another world genre without being disrespectful of it. It’s only six issues and probably collected so I recommend picking it up if you have the opportunity.
Crisis on Earth-Prime 
I only ever bought the first issue, but if it’s true he was being really respectful to the character and conceptual archetype, then yes, definitely seek the trade out. I know I personally enjoy Parlov’s art anyways, having first discovered it when he worked with Ennis on the Nick Fury/ Frank Castle Marvel Max mini “My War.”

Similarly, I found Parlov working with Ennis on THE PUNISHER PRESENTS: BARRACUDA and love his work; clean and simple but avoid cartoonish.

I forgot he drew that. Yeah, Baraccuda’s definitely one of the more interesting & unique type of villains Frank’s had the displeasure to have faced.
