Crisis on Earth-Prime 
Given how much of an absolute dick Batman was portrayed as back during that time period, that comment by Hal was justified. On the flip side, you also can’t blame Batman for being legitimately suspicious of a former teammate who broke bad to the degree Hal did that DC had to find a creative reason to dig him out of the whole they themselves put him in with a “case of possession.”
