Honestly, I was never a fan of the 60s Batman series – even as a kid, I found it too camp, too silly for my liking.
Over the years, though, my fondness for Adam West grew as he embraced the fame the role had given him and was willing to be a good sport about the whole thing, voicing himself in the last Lego Batman game.
One of, if not the most visited pages here is my collection of homages to the cover of Crisis on Infinite Earths #7, the death of Supergirl issue.
I’ve added a few more to the page but also tidied it up, separating out those covers that are pre-Crisis from those that are post- as well as moving the interior art and others to their own sections. Check it out here and, if you find any others, use the Contact Me tab at the top of the site to drop me a line.
Just noticed this is my 200th post on this blog, not counting all the pages of annotations and what-not so thought I’d celebrate with the 200th issue of Justice League of America from all the way back in 1982.
Try as I might, I can’t identify every character in every series that I annotate so as you read through my notes you’ll see some labelled as unknown.
I’ve collated all of them in to a single page here (also a tab at the top of this main page) so they’re nice and easy to view. Take a look and if you can identify some of them or just give me a suggestion, use the new Contact Me form which is also available as a tab on the top.
If you can identify a character, you get your name in lights . . . or at least on the Acknowledgements page!
