I’ll admit I don’t know a great deal about the shield other than he’s another stars and stripes type hero. Did DC ever do one of those? With the exception of General Glory from the Giffen/DeMatteis run on JLA, I mean?
I was quite pleased with how I blended the mist at the bottom with Dejah’s legs and feet . . . and then I covered it up with the story title. Bugger!
As much as I liked the Jack Knight Starman in the 90s, I still have a fondness for the Will Payton version. I feel the same way about the Linda Strauss version of Dr Fate, as well. I think I’m just a sucker for an underdog.
