  1. If how things went for Norman Osborn after he killed Gwen Stacy is any indication, Spidey will beat Bats within an inch of his life, but Batsy will end up trying to remote control the Batmobile to run Spidey over, and get run over himself.

    (I feel like this is where the Robot Devil from Futurama appears to cackle about ironic twists, and someone counters that isn’t really ironic, but hell, maybe it is.)

    Anyway, Batman stays dead 20 years, then returns dramatically and becomes massively overused. Which is saying something, considering this is Batman we’re talking about.
