Considering their relative closeness is age, I can see it. Throw in Wally, and you have all the makings of a nice little Young Adults JLA on your hands.

Either they would have been pals (and if they were both in the Satellite JLA, they would have undoubtedly pissed off Hawkman constantly), or they’d keep stealing each other’s girlfriends and fighting about it.

Ha! Love the idea of Hawkman constantly getting annoyed by the pair of them fooling around – they would have been Red and Green before there was a Blue and Gold!
