Mrs Earth-Prime and I went to see Dune Part Two on the weekend just gone and while it looked gorgeous, I found it overlong, feeling that it took a hell of a long time to get anywhere. And when it arrived, I thought, oh, so we wait for Part Three?

However, there was one scene where Paul Atreides overhears some of the Fremen mocking him because others in their clan believe him to be the messiah. He interrupts and says that no, he’s not the messiah, he just wants to be a fighter with them. A moment later and the lead true believer, Stilgar, tells his faithful that only the messiah would have the wisdom or strength to claim not to be the messiah.

And as soon as that scene played out, the following clip popped into my head:

I knew I wouldn’t be the only one to think that.
