Does that include Teen Atom as well 😏I’d honestly be up for this to have happened back in ‘96. Sure, at least one of them would’ve still have gotten ‘fridged, but that’s par for the course when you’re a student of Prof. X’s.
Yep, Atom’s included – he’s on Prysm’s shoulder – though I have no doubt he would butt heads with Prof X about how best to run the team.
I’ve got the entire run of this era, including the one-shots. It’s solid Jurgens story-telling but hampered, I think, by the focus on the new heroes. Bringing in an almost completely new roster to any team always comes with some risks (like JL Detroit) but on the whole I enjoyed it.
Oh no question they would. I’d be shocked if they didn’t.
I only bought the New Year’s Evil special featuring their arch enemies at the time. Otherwise I didn’t buy any issues of the series, although it certainly looked like it had potential. Unfortunately for that particular iteration, there doesn’t seem to be too much love for them since
I don’t think they’re as badly thought of as JL Detroit are, although maybe they’re simply ignored instead of hated, which might be worse.
I know Risk had his arm torn off during Infinite Crisis and that was picked up on in TEEN TITANS afterward, turning him into a bitter, lost hero. Argent is, I think, the only new character who came out of the series and went on to have smaller appearances in other titles.
I’m a fan, but then as I’ve said before, I like Jurgens both as a writer and artist.

Did you read any of this era of Teen Titans?

I remember that yeah. Yet one more legitimate reason to loathe the Infinite Crisis era.
Definitely forgotten or willfully ignored , but not hated about sums it up
