Annotations Update

My notes on the third and final part of the animated version of CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS are available here.

While I really like the style of animation of all three films . . . this last one left a lot to be desired. Maybe I’ll do a full review of all three films at some point, rather than just a recap of the storyline, but this just fizzled into a big pile of nothing, to be honest.

Still it’s done, so I can continue on with my write ups of the Crime Syndicate stories that’s also underway.

Random Panels: God Save The Queen

FROM HELL #2

If the ridiculous conspiracy that inspired Alan Moore’s and Eddie Campbell’s epic retelling of Jack the Ripper were true, this is one scene I’d have no trouble in believing: the unfeeling, unrelenting belief of the crown that “all of them” – the women attempting to blackmail Walter Sickert and through him, the royals – must die. No discussion, no alternative, no chance of any other outcome.

The inability of the ruling class to view the poor as people and individuals is still in evidence, sad to say.

Untold Tales #883 Shard vs Phantom Lady

Shard’s about to show Phantom Lady why breaking into the X Mansion isn’t a good idea . . . even if it’s done for the best of intentions!

Untold Tales #882 Deadman and Son of Satan

Trapped in Hell, Deadman has to enlist the Son of Satan in order to escape . . . but the infernal offspring has problems of his own! Deadman may have to save him before he can be saved himself!
