Mash-Up #24
Twice a week I randomly generate two dates and then compare the titles I own from both of them, trying to find some covers that, with a little basic photoshopping, I can mash together, and then I force the results on you lovely people.
By the way, I admit to being HUGELY influenced by the wonderful Super-Team Family blog which has been doing this for years (and a lot better) on an almost daily basis.
Ah, the JSA – those were the days, eh?
For what it’s worth, with the JSA characters, I was trying to mimic the effect seen on Green Lantern #138 which is where I stole Eclipso from.

Bit of a slow week this week so have caught up with a couple of Eclipso: The Darkness Within items that I’ve found over the last couple of months.

Women Don’t Talk Much On The Moon
As I was annotating both issues of the Eclipso: The Darkness Within series, I began to get a sense that the male characters in the story were getting a lot more “screen time” and dialogue than their female counterparts. Over the course of a weekend, I went through the issues and started examining the issues in more detail and ended up writing a small essay.
